If you are worried about fitting in, I can vouch for Tara's amazing ability to teach to multiple levels of yoga in one class. When I broke my arm a few years ago and had a very limited, almost zero, practice, she brought me back to a full practice. There have been some completely new students in our class, and she finds a way for everyone to work at his/her own ability. -Eva Foster
Virabhadrasana III has always been (as still is) a challenge for me. Balance, of course is the issue, what with my wonky hips and my weight. I include working toward it in my ongoing home practice, but I especially enjoyed the way you broke it down today, muscle by muscle. I still wasn't able to do the full pose, but I understand the details of it much better. Hopefully, I can incorporate some your instructions and insights into my home practice. Thank you for being my teacher.

I have appreciated the personal attention to correct postures in Tara’s classes. These classes have been the opposite of several other yoga classes that I tried which felt like following an anonymous drill instructor. Tara is excellent with tailoring her approach to the students' level ; in my case, I found the “Gentle Yoga” and “ Back Care” classes that I took with Tara to be beneficial.
